Haditha Hyperbole

With all of the mainstream media focus on Haditha, it's important to remember a tiny little tenet of law that we 'used' to treasure. Remember innocent until proven guilty? Not one news outlet has all of the facts on the incident, so the foredrawn conclusion that the Americans are guilty is based on nothing other than supposition. More accurately, supposition fueled by a driving anti-war bias that is dead-set on reviving the 'babykiller' image American GIs had to contend with during the Vietnam war.

I find it sickening that the left-wing anti-war crowd is so utterly desperate to get their point across that they're willing to cast GI's in a negative light with little evidence, virtually no facts, and a complete and utter disregard for their service.

Now they're going so far as to compare the alleged actions of the Marines to My Lai. I'm not going to get into that, as Indian Chris over at Right-Wing and Right Minded took the words right out of my mouth.
