One thing you'd think Palestinians would have learned in their decades long conflict with Israel is the simple fact that actions have consequences. Endless whining about Israeli atrocities does nothing to hide the fact that Israel is being forced to respond by never-ending suicide and terror attacks.
Palestinians won't come to the table when they can bomb a restaurant or bus and get more attention. Now with the abduction of a young IDF soldier by Palestinian 'militants' ( a term which effectively applies to seemingly the entire population of the Gaza Strip), Israel once again put its boot down.
Israeli tanks and troops rolled into the southern Gaza Strip on Wednesday after mediators said hope was running out of recovering a soldier abducted by Palestinian gunmen...the first major ground offensive in Gaza since the Jewish state withdrew last year after 38 years of occupation.
Apparently the concept that retibution is a two-way street is simply lost on the Palestinian psyche. All the wailing and complaining about the tyrannical Israeli regime is a load of crap. Anyone with half a brain knows that they're repeatedly bringing this on themselves. It's so simple; stop killing and you will stop getting killed.
Sadly, this basic concept is forever lost on a people who value death over life and believe that martyrdom is a more certain route to glory than peacemaking.
